Terms of Service

Mobile Headlight Restoration LLC d/b/a Dallas Headlight Restoration ("we") is a mobile headlight restoration business serving Dallas and the surrounding Dallas–Fort Worth area. Mobile Headlight Restoration LLC is the filed entity; Dallas Headlight Restoration is the name it trades under and the one you will see everywhere else. These terms cover the service and the text messaging that goes with it, and the agreement is with the entity named above. They are written to describe what actually happens rather than to cover every hypothetical.
The service
We restore vehicle headlights at your home, your workplace, or a meeting point you choose. Every quote is confirmed in person before any work starts — a photo can hide as much as it shows, so the price you are quoted from a photo is an estimate until we have seen the vehicle. You pay after the work is done and you have looked it over.
The 1-year warranty
Every restoration carries a 1-year warranty from the date of the job. If the headlights haze back within that year, we will make it right at no charge. The warranty covers the restoration work itself. It does not cover a headlight that is cracked, a housing that has lost its seal, or damage that happens after the job — those are repairs, not hazing, and we will tell you so before we start rather than after.
Text messages
What we send. Three things, and nothing else:
- replies about the quote you asked for, including questions we need answered to price the job
- arranging and confirming your appointment
- a check-in on how your headlights are holding up while your 1-year warranty is active
Some replies are automatic, and a person reads every message. Your very first text gets an immediate automatic reply setting out what we send, how often, that rates may apply, and how to reply HELP or STOP, with links to these terms and the Privacy Policy. What we need to price the job, or confirmation that your photos arrived, follows it. That is so nothing sits in a queue waiting for someone to be free — not so you can avoid talking to us. Every message is reviewed by a person, and your actual price and appointment are sent by that person, never generated.
Message frequency varies. We reply to your messages, and send up to 2 warranty check-ins per year while your 1-year warranty is active. We do not send on any other schedule.
We never send marketing texts. No offers, no discounts, no promotions, and we never share your number with anyone who does.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We do not sell your number or your consent to anyone, for any purpose.
How you opt in. By texting us first, or by ticking the consent box on the quote form at our website. We never ask for consent by text. Both are set out at how texting works. If you ask us in person to text you, we will ask you to send the first message yourself, so the disclosure reaches you automatically.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Both are handled automatically and take effect immediately. You can also just tell us in any way that reaches us — a person is reading, so it does not have to be a keyword. Stopping texts does not stop us replying by email if that is how you reached us.
Your photos
Photos you text us, photos you send through the quote form, and the before-and-after pair we shoot at the job are kept with your job record. That is how we quote accurately and how a warranty claim gets settled — the "before" photo is the evidence of what we started from. A person looks at it; it is not sent to any automated analysis service.
We publish before-and-after photos, and only if you say we can. We ask at the job. Saying no costs you nothing and does not change the price. When we do publish, we obscure the license plate and we never publish your name or address. Tell us at any time and we take it down. The Privacy Policy sets out what is collected, how long it is kept, and who else sees it.
Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished and you have seen the results. We accept common payment methods — ask when you book. We come to you across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, and the price we quote you up front is the price you pay; there is no separate travel charge added to it.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them.
