Text a photo, get a price

Texting is how most people start with Dallas Headlight Restoration. Send a photo of your headlights and you will get a price back.

Some replies are automatic. A person reads every message.

Your very first text gets an immediate automatic reply setting out what we send you, how often, that message and data rates may apply, and how to reply HELP or STOP — with links to our Terms and Privacy Policy. Straight after it comes what we need to quote the job, or confirmation that your photos arrived. Those exist so nothing sits in a queue waiting for someone to be free — not so you can avoid talking to us.

Your actual price, and your appointment, are written and sent by a person who has looked at your photos. We would rather tell you a restoration is not the right fix than sell you one, and no software can make that call.

We never send marketing texts. No offers, no discounts, no promotions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We do not sell your number or your consent to anyone, for any purpose.

Ways to start

1. Text us

Text QUOTE — or just send a photo — to (972) 458-4679. Your first reply spells out what we send, how often, the rates disclaimer and how to stop, with links to the Terms and the Privacy Policy. After that it is a normal conversation.

There is no keyword to remember. Any first message from a new number gets that reply, whether you write QUOTE, "hi", or nothing but a photo.

3. Use the form on the site

The quote form on our homepage takes your mobile number and a photo. Texting you is optional: the consent box starts empty, leaving it empty does not stop you getting a quote, and we will email you instead.

The two-photo check is the same thing with the photos first: one shot of each headlight, your number, and the price comes back by text. The consent box works the same way — it starts empty, and leaving it empty gets you an email instead.

4. Call us and press 1

Call (972) 458-4679 and the first thing you hear, before anything else, is the choice:

“Thanks for calling Dallas Headlight Restoration. Press 1 and we’ll text you to get started. Press 2 to reach us now. Press 3 to leave a message.”

We never text a caller who has not pressed 1. Press 2 and the phone rings through to us. Press 3, press anything else, or say nothing at all, and you get voicemail. No text is sent in any of those cases. Pressing 1 is an express request to be texted, made by someone who dialled the number themselves.

Press 1 and the text arrives straight away. If you have never texted us before, it opens with the same disclosure your first text would get — what we send, how often, that message and data rates may apply, how to reply HELP or STOP, and links to our Terms and Privacy Policy — followed by the same three things we ask everyone for: your first name and ZIP code, the year, make and model of your vehicle, and a photo of each headlight.

That disclosure is a one-time record, sent once per number rather than attached to every message. If you have texted us before, pressing 1 sends only the questions. If we cannot text the number you called from — a landline, usually — we say so and put you through to voicemail instead, rather than hanging up on a message that never arrived.

Stopping

Reply STOP to any message and the texts stop immediately. Reply HELP for help. Both are handled automatically. You can also just tell us in any way that reaches us — a person is reading, so it does not have to be a keyword. Stopping texts does not cancel your warranty and does not stop us replying by email if that is how you reached us.
