Why a mobile service suits Plano in particular
Plano is spread out in a way that makes driving somewhere to sit and wait a genuinely bad trade. The city runs from the Bush Turnpike up past Legacy, and the two roads that carry most of it — the Tollway and Central — are the ones you would be sitting on to reach a workshop, at the times of day you would be free to go.

Modern headlights are polycarbonate, not glass, and they leave the factory with a thin UV-resistant coating on the outside. That coating is the part that fails. Sunlight breaks it down, and once it goes the plastic underneath starts oxidising directly — which is the yellow haze you are looking at, and the reason polishing alone does not hold.
